CALLICOON ARTWALK showcases the growing art and music scene in the picturesque hamlet of Callicoon on the Delaware. The event highlights the arts in unconventional places throughout the hamlet including storefronts, public spaces and the historic Callicoon Depot.

This event supports the continued growth of the local art and music scene by attracting locals and tourists alike to come experience our vibrant creator community. This event is FREE, open to the public and aims to be a major force for developing cultural initiatives in the Hamlet of Callicoon and Sullivan County.

Festivities officially kick off on Saturday at noon with 50+ local artists display paintings, drawings, photographs, ceramics, sculptures and video and a full day of Live Music, Theatre Performances, Film Screenings, Workshops, Artist ‘Meet & Greet’s, Book Signings, Demonstrations and more, throughout the day!

After Artwalk, head to one of the many wonderful restaurants or taverns in Callicoon for dinner, drinks and more live entertainment!

A handy map will be distributed with the full schedule of programming, work on view and participating locations.

Learn the process of sublimation printing with Ari! 

Choose from the pre-printed copies of originality designed images, and transfer them onto a tote bag or zipper pouch using the heat press.

Following there Depot Stage set, the Poison Love Duo will be heading over to the back portch at The Kitchen Table wher Dan will be making popcorn using his one of a kind Pop & Wok. (an invention of his own) In addition to serving up incredible popcorn, the due will also be serving up some tasty tunes on the porch from 1:30pm on.

Catskill Magic Amulet Workshop w/ Gypsy Mountain Art Studio | The Callicoon Depot 
Join Jillian Rahm of Gypsy Mountain Art Studio and create your very own wearable Catskills talisman using repurposed bottle caps, paints and found materials.

What Bones Carry w/ Spirit + Bones | The Emporium
What the Bones Carry is about what happens when we slow down and listen to what the land leaves behind. Join Jane Mrva of Spirit + Bones for the stories, the plant-dyed process, and the ethics behind every piece they  make.

Rhyme & Pun (no -ishment) w/ Richard Traviss | The Garden @ 26 Upper Main Street (entrance to the right of Roger That Bakery)
Always wanted to know how freestylers or musical improvisers do it?  Well here’s your chance.

Join us for a workshop giving participants hands-on experience with freestyle rap, beatboxing, and storytelling in a safe, supportive environment. Richard will get you started quickly on your improvisational journey with some fun exercises to build up your extemporaneous muscles.

‘Sacred Sounds‘ Performance & Drumming Workshop w/ Obi Kaye | The Callicoon Depot
A Global Rhythms performance which includes story telling and audience participation.

Combining both traditional and unusual percussion instruments, the audience enters a world of soundscapes and dance grooves, entering through a gateway to the spiritual, the emotional and, the unexplored.

Audience members are encouraged to bring their drums or other percusive instruments as Obi will lead a workshop where they will explore the reaches of the imagination.

‘Betrayal‘ by River Rep Theatre | The Callicoon Depot Stage
Presented in reverse chronological order, Harold Pinter’s magnetic masterpiece focuses on the affair between Emma (married to Robert) and Jerry (Robert’s best friend).

River Rep ensemble members Arthur Aulisi (The Catastrophist), Donna Jean Fogel (Every Brilliant Thing) and Christopher Peditto (‘Art’) form the “eternal triangle” in what The Telegraph calls, “the greatest, and the most moving, of all Pinter’s plays.” Aulisi, Fogel and Peditto will be joined by Thomas Cambridge (Tomorrow Today) as the Waiter.

Acoustic Americana featuring lead fiddle, guitar, vocal harmonies and original songwriting that beautifully weaves together elements of 60s and 70s country, rock, and folk, creating a unique and captivating musical style.

LIVE Music: Richard Traviss | The Callicoon Depot Stage
Sullivan County, NY native and an expressive singer-songwriter whose eclectic musical style spans rock, reggae, pop, and soul. “Heavily influenced by the sounds of Jamaica, Traviss brings an uncompromising, high-energy stage presence that blends poignant, thought-provoking lyricism with raw honesty.” – The River Reporter.

A multi-instrumentalist who performs on guitar, mandolin, and piano, he is a prominent fixture in the local Catskills live music scene. Fronting dynamic projects like Talking Fire, The Mandatory Parade, and The Secular Sextet, Traviss utilizes his message-driven performances to challenge audiences and spark community dialogue.

LIVE Music: Ramona Jan | The Callicoon Pantry
Musician and avant guarde composer who has worked with talking Heads, Brian Eno, Ramones and others. Former punk rock musician having played Max’s Kansas City, Peppermint Lounge, CBGB’s and more. Currently plays newly invented idiophonic instrument called Handpan.

LIVE Music: Poison Love Duo | The Kitchen Table Cafe Porch
After their set on the Depot Main Stage, you can catch Joanne & Dan Brokerhoff on the back porch of The Kitchen Table Cafe –they will be serving up delicious pop-corn courtesy of Dan’s one of a kind ‘Pop & Wok + some more tasting tunes!

LIVE Music: Caswyn Moon & Faith Kelly | The Callicoon Depot Stage
Our favorite ‘Couple of Wanderers,’ these two solo artists travel together from the Catskills to share their songs to anyone, anywhere.  Moon, brings his punky yet melodic Americana with old country undertones (accompanied by Faith on Moog synthesizer) and Kelly, her spacey folk rock’n’roll with Appalachian mountain roots.

LIVE Music: Crisper | The Callicoon Depot Stage
An assembly of genetic mutations relentlessly creating discordant rhythmic sonic signals in order to penetrate and alter the DNA of humanity & beyond. Crisper is Bryson Brooks, Marcus Brooks and James Karpowicz.

A jazz vibraphonist and drummer rooted in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Hoffmann brings a spirit of exploration to every performance. Each year at the Artwalk, he embraces the freedom of fully improvised music — following sound wherever it leads. From spontaneous rhythms to unexpected melodies, Hoffmann’s sets are alive with curiosity, creativity, and the joy of simply playing.

Brooklyn based singer-songwriter Lucas Maehara is a storyteller of the human experience. Lucas blends the whimsical and the profound in his Mosaic Americana. As a multi-instrumentalist, he creates a sound as diverse as the influences that have shaped his journey; each song resonating with the shared emotions and experiences that make us human. Lucas’ music connects hearts and souls through the expressive artistry of his poetic imagery and storytelling.

Upper Delaware Valley based singer-songwriter Callison Stratton blends personal storytelling, poetry and natural imagery with American Folk tradition.
